Mets place RHP Anthony Swarzak on the DL / recall RHP Jacob Rhame

The New York Mets today announced that the club has placed RHP Anthony Swarzak on the 10-Day Disabled List, retroactive to August 4, with right shoulder inflammation and recalled RHP Jacob Rhame from Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League.

The New York Mets today announced that the club has placed RHP Anthony Swarzak on the 10-Day Disabled List, retroactive to August 4, with right shoulder inflammation and recalled RHP Jacob Rhame from Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League. Rhame will wear #35 and will be available for today's game. 
 
Rhame, 25, is 0-1 with one save and an 8.00 ERA (16 earned runs/18.0 innings) in 18 games with New York this season. He was also 1-2 with nine saves a 3.76 ERA (11 earned runs/26.1 innings) in 20 games with Las Vegas. 
 
Swarzak, 32, is 0-2 with three saves and a 6.00 ERA (14 earned runs/21.0 innings) in 22 games for New York this year.
