Magill missed the Twins last three games attending the birth of his son, Maverick, on Saturday. He has appeared in 24 games for the Twins this season, going 2-2 with a 3.86 ERA (39.2 IP, 17 ER), eight walks and 39 strikeouts.u5:p
To make room for Magill on the 25-man roster, the Twins have placed right-handed pitcher Matt Belisle on the 10-day disabled list with right knee chondromalacia. Belisle appeared in 19 games for the Twins this season, going 1-1 with a 9.15 ERA (19.2 IP, 20 ER), eight walks and 19 strikeouts.u5:p
