Twins reinstate Magill from paternity list

The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have reinstated right-handed pitcher Matt Magill from the Paternity List. Magill missed the Twins last three games attending the birth of his son, Maverick, on Saturday. He has appeared in 24 games for the Twins this season, going 2-2 with a 3.86 ERA (39.2 IP, 17 ER), eight walks and 39 strikeouts.

To make room for Magill on the 25-man roster, the Twins have placed right-handed pitcher Matt Belisle on the 10-day disabled list with right knee chondromalacia. Belisle appeared in 19 games for the Twins this season, going 1-1 with a 9.15 ERA (19.2 IP, 20 ER), eight walks and 19 strikeouts.u5:p
