The Miami Marlins and Jar of Hearts, an organization founded to help children overcome trauma through creative art expression and enhance the patient and family hospital experience, will partner to host painting projects at alex's place at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and at Holtz Children's Hospital on Friday, August 31 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Marlins outfielder Magneuris Sierra will be joined by several Marlins Better Halves for the afternoon visit. The Miami Marlins are proud to support Major League Baseball in their efforts to raise awareness for the fight against childhood cancer.

On Saturday, September 1, fans are invited to join the Miami Marlins and Major League Baseball in the fight against Childhood Cancer with Go Gold for Childhood Cancer, driven by AutoNation. Fans will receive gold Marlins Go Gold for Childhood Cancer hats, driven by AutoNation, while supplies last. Ticket package purchasers of groups with 20 or more will receive the opportunity to have a representative of the group participate in a pregame ceremony. Ticket packages are available at Marlins.com/Themes. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket will support local Childhood Cancer Organizations in South Florida.
