Homestand Highlights • September 6-12 • Reds vs. Padres & Dodgers
Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018 - Reds vs. San Diego Padres, 6:40 p.m. (Thirsty Thursday)
• Moment of Silence: Prior to the singing of the National Anthem tonight we will pause for a Moment of Silence in honor of the victims of today's tragedy in our city. The Moment of Silence is scheduled for 6:27 p.m. 
• Roberto Clemente Award: Tucker Barnhart, the Reds' nominee for the 2018 Roberto Clemente Award, will be honored during pregame ceremonies. The Roberto Clemente Award is the annual recognition of a player from each MLB Club who best represents the game of Baseball through extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy and positive contributions, both on and off the field. 
• Check Presentation: Representatives from PNC, Cohen Recycling, CBTS, Duke Energy, Kroger, Macy's and TriHealth will present a check for $29,800 to the Reds Community Fund. The donation is from proceeds generated by the PNC, Reds & Cohen E-Waste Recycling Drives on May 3-5, 2018. 
Friday, Sept. 7, 2018 - Reds vs. San Diego Padres, 6:40 p.m. (Fireworks Friday; African American Community Night)
• Fireworks Friday: Rozzi's fireworks show set to a soundtrack of Motown, classic hip-hop and R&B music, will begin approximately 10 minutes after the game ends, presented by Mercedes-Benz of West Chester and Cincinnati.
• African American Community Night: Tonight's celebration of African American Community Night will feature many activities around the ballpark including: 

  • The Fixx Band will play in the Kroger Fan Zone before the game and Self Diploma's DJ Hilliard will be in the Fioptics District
  • Pregame ceremonies will honor Reds Community Advocate Award presented by TriHealth recipient Gwen Robinson-Benning, Midwest Regional Black Family Reunion Family of the Year recipients Jason & Tiffany Dunn, Cincinnati's First Ladies For Health and local non-profit Sole Bros.
    • King Records 'World's Largest Twist Dance': Post-game dance party celebrating the 60th anniversary of the hit song "The Twist" that was written and recorded in 1959 by Hank Ballard at Cincinnati's King Records. Fans are encouraged to show off their moves for the largest gathering of people dancing the Twist. 
    Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018 - Reds vs. San Diego Padres, 4:10 p.m. (Super Saturday; Post-game Faith Concert)
    • Joe Morgan Replica Statue: As part of Super Saturdays, free replica celebrating the fifth anniversary of the Joe Morgan bronze statue dedication to the first 20,000 fans, presented by Queen City Sausage.
    • Post-game Faith Concert: Fans are invited to stay after the game for the annual Faith Day concert presented by Prasco featuring the Dove Award-winning band Tenth Avenue North. Prior to the concert, fans can hear testimonials from Reds players Michael Lorenzen and Scooter Gennett. 
     
    Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018 - Reds vs. San Diego Padres, 1:10 p.m. (Family Sunday)
    • Eugenio Suárez Fathead: As part of family day at the ballpark, free Eugenio Suárez Fathead® Wall Decal to kids 14 and younger, presented by Panera Bread. 
    • Reds Country Athletic Achievement Award: The Wheelersburg Little League girls softball team will be honored during pregame ceremonies and receive a Reds Country Athletic Achievement Award for winning the 2018 Little League Softball World Series. The 11- and 12-year-olds from Wheelersburg (in Scioto County, Ohio) finished with a 5-2 record in the World Series, held Aug. 8-15 in Portland, Oregon. 
    • Mascot T-ball Game: The 16th annual mascot t-ball game will take place from approx. Noon to 12:30 p.m. featuring more than 20 mascots representing schools and organizations from throughout the region.• Family Sunday Activities: As part of Family Sundays presented by Klosterman Bakery, kids can enjoy circus performers and a face painter, a live mascot race, a "Third and Learn" program in the Kroger Fan Zone during the third inning and more.
    • Brunch with Browning in The Handlebar: Fans can dine and watch the game in The Handlebar for just a $55 upgrade, which includes a buffet meal. Plus, meet "Mr. Perfect" Tom Browning from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
    • Run the Bases: Fans of all ages can line up after the game to run the bases, with a priority line for Reds Heads Kids Club members. Presented by Entenmann's Little Bites. 
    Monday, Sept. 10, 2018 - Reds vs. Los Angeles Dodgers, 6:40 p.m.
    • First Pitch: Bryce Carlson, the Seven Hills School science teacher who recently set a solo rowing record across the North Atlantic Ocean, will throw out a ceremonial first pitch. Carlson finished the 2,000-mile trip in just over 38 days. The previous record for a west-to-east solo crossing was 53 days.
     
    Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018 - Reds vs. Los Angeles Dodgers, 6:40 p.m. (Military Appreciation Day)
    • 9/11 Tribute: Major League Baseball and all 30 Clubs will conduct 9/11 commemorations throughout the league on September 11 as part of Baseball's ongoing effort to honor and remember those whose lives were affected or lost on that tragic day. Pregame ceremonies will honor first responders and public service personnel and include a moment of silence. Players, coaches and umpires will wear caps with a "We Shall Not Forget" patch during games.  
    • Military Appreciation Game: Tonight is the fifth (and final) Military Appreciation Day of the season. Special ticket offers are available for military members in advance of game day only at reds.com/Military.
    Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018 - Reds vs. Los Angeles Dodgers, 12:35 p.m. (Business Day Special; Senior Citizen Special)
    • Redstoberfest: In honor of Oktoberfest Zinzinnati, the Reds will celebrate "Redstoberfest" and German Community Day with activations around the ballpark. Bernie Rau from Germania Oktoberfest will receive the German Community Advocate Award presented by TriHealth.

    • Collectible Bobblehead for September - Johnny Bench: The Reds Hall of Fame wraps up the 2018 bobblehead series in September by celebrating the 50th anniversary of Johnny Bench's 1968 Rookie of the Year award. The Bench bobbleheads are free with regular-price admission to the Reds Hall of Fame and Museum (or a Great American Ball Park tour) and will be available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays throughout the month of September, while supplies last. 
    • 2019 Reds Fantasy Camp: A limited number of spots are available for 2019 Reds Fantasy Camp, to be held January 19-26 in Goodyear, Ariz. Campers receive daily instruction and coaching on game fundamentals from over 20 former Reds players including Tom Browning, Danny Graves, Aaron Harang and Billy Hatcher.
