The Chicago White Sox have announced SoxFest 2019 hotel packages at the Hilton Chicago, along with weekend passes to the event, will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 19. The 27th annual fan event - sponsored by Beggars Pizza, Guaranteed Rate, NBC Sports Chicago and WGN-TV - returns January 25-27, 2019.
The White Sox will hold a special presale event at 10 a.m. CT on Monday, September 17, for fans who sign up for the SoxFest priority list at whitesox.com/soxfest by 11:59 p.m. CT on Sunday, September 16. Members of the White Sox Black List will receive a special presale at 10 a.m. CT on Tuesday, September 18. The presale will include an advance link distributed via email to purchase SoxFest 2019 hotel packages and weekend passes.
Two-night SoxFest hotel packages include exclusive access to Friday night events and are the only way to purchase weekend passes. SoxFest hotel packages at the Hilton Chicago are $294 for a two-night stay (price does not include applicable taxes, fees and costs for weekend passes). Fans who book hotel packages are eligible to also purchase up to four SoxFest weekend passes. Weekend passes will be available for $40 for each adult and for $10 for each kid (ages 4 to 13). Kids' passes include access to children-only events throughout the weekend, including children's autograph sessions, a kids-only question-and-answer seminar, clinics in the interactive area and more.
Individual passes to SoxFest will go on sale in January.
Last year's sold-out event included current and former White Sox players signing more than 16,000 autographs and posing for nearly 4,500 photos with fans. In addition to seminars and autograph sessions, both current and former team members played games against fans in the interactive area, surprised fans with unique experiences and more.
