We will continue to augment our operation until the Baltimore Orioles are leaders in recruiting and developing international players."

Perez started working in professional baseball in 2006, serving as the St. Louis Cardinals Northeast Area Scout, a position he held through 2008.
Born in Tamayo, DR, Perez grew up in North Bergen, N.J. He played for two seasons in the Red Sox organization from 2002-03 and also played in the Independent Atlantic League from 2003-05.
