The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that Detroit Tigers pitcher Gregory Soto has been suspended 20 games, without pay, pursuant to Article XII(B) of the Basic Agreement. Soto will begin serving the 20-game suspension on Opening Day of the 2019 season. Soto will be eligible to participate in all Spring Training activities, including Spring Training games, prior to Opening Day.
