CHICAGO - The Chicago White Sox will honor baseball great Harold Baines and his induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame on Harold Baines Day, presented by Xfinity, on Sunday, August 11 vs. Oakland.
Fans will celebrate the six-time All-Star during a special pregame ceremony. The first 20,000 fans to enter the ballpark will take home a Harold Baines Hall of Fame Replica Plaque giveaway, presented by Xfinity.
Baines will be the 15th person (with the White Sox serving as the player's "primary team," according to the Baseball Hall of Fame) in White Sox history to be elected into the Hall of Fame on Sunday, July 21. During his 22-season career, he hit .289 (2,866-9,908) with 488 doubles, 49 triples, 384 home runs, 1,628 RBI, 1,299 runs scored and 1,062 walks over 2,830 games. He received the 1989 A.L. Silver Slugger Award for designated hitters and finished in the Top Ten of the A.L. Most Valuable Player voting twice (1983 and 1985). The left-handed slugger is the only player in major-league history to make 1,000 appearances as a designated hitter and play at least 1,000 games at another position.

• White Sox 312 Hat, presented by Goose Island, on June 29 vs. Minnesota (first 10,000 fans over the age of 21 who enter the ballpark)
•"Field of Dreams" Post-Game Movie Screening, presented by Securian Financial, on August 9 vs. Oakland
• Halfway to St. Patrick's Day on September 28 vs. Detroit
The White Sox also unveiled designs for the following giveaways:
• Chicago-Themed Jersey, presented by NBC Sports Chicago, on June 1 vs. Cleveland (first 20,000 fans who enter the ballpark)
• Disco Demolition 40-Anniversary Commemorative Free T-Shirt Thursday on June 13 vs. the New York Yankees (first 10,000 fans who enter the ballpark)

Print-at-home (PDF) tickets will no longer be an option for tickets purchased online. Fans can receive their tickets through smartphones, White Sox Ticket Office Will Call or by mail (additional fees will apply for hard copy tickets). Single game tickets will be on sale for the general public at 10 a.m. tomorrow on whitesox.com or by calling 312-674-1000. Full season, 40 and 20-game ticket plans as well as Pick 10 plans are available now, featuring the best seats at the best prices with flexible payment options. Beginning March 4, the Guaranteed Rate Field ticket office will be open seven days a week. Ticket office hours are 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets will not be available for purchase in person at the Guaranteed Rate Field ticket office until March 4.
