You may have heard of the “9-9-9” challenge before: consuming nine beers and nine hot dogs during a nine-inning baseball game, a task not for the faint of heart.
Now, there’s an easy way to try it at MLB stadiums across the country.
Aramark Sports + Entertainment partnered with competitive eating star Joey Chestnut to produce the new 9-9-9 Challenge, which features nine flight-sized beers and nine mini hot dogs. It will be sold at six different Major League ballparks this season.
First introduced at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia during the 2025 postseason, the 9-9-9 Challenge will be available to fans 21 and up with valid ID. Each one will feature custom team packaging.
“A new season brings a chance to re-energize the fan experience, especially as we prepare for the 2026 MLB All‑Star Game in Aramark’s hometown of Philadelphia this summer,” Aramark president and CEO Alison Birdwell said. “With that momentum in mind, our teams set out to create new culinary concepts, reimagined retail experiences, and unique in‑venue activations across our portfolio -- all with a focus on amplifying what makes baseball so special and creating signature moments that fans will carry long after the final out.”
Here’s where the 9-9-9 challenge will be available in 2026:
- Citi Field (Willets Point Brewery)
- Citizens Bank Park (Section 128)
- Coors Field (Fanfare, Section 139)
- Daikin Park (Crawford Dogs, Sections 109, 418)
- Kauffman Stadium (Double Dip Hoagies, Section 247)
- Oracle Park (Doggie Diner, Scoreboard Plaza)
