Opening Day is still a few weeks out, but fans don't have to wait until April 2 to see elite Major League competition with the World Baseball Classic and spring exhibitions in full swing.

Waino, Cards host Marlins: MIA@STL, 1:05 p.m., MLB.TV
Wainwright has made an effort to rediscover his curveball this spring, and he gets another opportunity to deploy it against today when the Cardinals host the Marlins at their shared Spring Training complex in Jupiter, Fla. Wainwright made a slight change to his grip early in camp and is seeing improved effectiveness with his breaking ball as a result.
"It's so great to have it back," Wainwright said. "It was missing for a while, but now we have it back, and that's all that matters."
Righty Tom Koehler will start for Miami in his third spring outing. He's 1-0 and has allowed just one run on two hits through three innings.
Sabathia set for spring debut: TB@NYY, 1:05 p.m., MLB.TV
Carsten Sabathia will see his first Grapefruit League action when his Yankees welcome the Rays to George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, Fla. The Yankees are taking their time with the 36-year-old Sabathia after he underwent arthroscopic surgery to clean up his right knee in October. He tossed two simulated innings against Minor Leaguers on Thursday.
"Everything's been feeling good so far," Sabathia said. "The next step is to get in a game."
Right-hander Jake Odorizzi will take the hill for the Rays. Odorizzi was added to Team USA's designated pitcher pool for the second and third rounds of WBC 2017 and could see innings in the international tournament later this month.

Gray, Miller duel at Talking Stick: OAK@ARI, 3:10 p.m., MLB.TV
Coming off their first off-day of the spring, the A's will resume their Cactus League schedule with a matchup against the D-backs at Salt River Fields. Gray will make his second spring start; he flashed a bit of his old self his last time out, striking out four over two scoreless frames against the Padres last week.
"Seeing him go back out there and dominate like the old Sonny, I felt like everybody was rallied up a little around that, including himself," said catcher Bruce Maxwell.
Opposite Gray will be Arizona's Shelby Miller, who was just as effective in his most recent outing, fanning six and hitting 99 mph over three innings against the World Series champion Cubs.

Kershaw looks to stay perfect: SF@LAD, 3:05 p.m.
Two clubs expected to compete for the National League West title will go head to head at Camelback Ranch as the Dodgers host the Giants. Fans will be treated to an appearance by Kershaw, who already appears to be rounding into midseason form.
The Dodgers' ace has yet to allow a baserunner through three innings this spring. He'll look to continue that momentum against Matt Moore and the division-rival Giants.
