GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- There was no estimated distance on Adam Duvall's first-inning home run for the Reds vs. the Indians in a 9-6 loss on Wednesday. Had it not careened off the left-field scoreboard, it certainly would have landed outside of Goodyear Ballpark.
All that mattered to Duvall was that he got all of it against Indians starter Carlos Carrasco.
"To be honest with you, I didn't even watch it land," Duvall said. "We were working in the cage earlier today on contact point, getting it out front. It feels good to take that into the game."

Duvall finished Cactus League action with a team-leading six home runs. He also hit two homers on Tuesday vs. the Dodgers in a three-hit, four-RBI game. He hit four homers with nine RBIs over his last seven games.
"It's pleasing to get going here at the end, and get going into the season," Duvall said. "I'm just looking forward to it. It will be fun to get right into the action in April."
