It was inevitable. After spending his entire 15-year career with the St. Louis Cardinals, Adam Wainwright and the Cards have been in talks all offseason trying to work out a deal. And then, on Friday morning, it, um, wait ... what?

We're guessing it's a slight mix-up and the local news station meant the Cardinals (yes, sources say it's definitely the Cardinals), but Wainwright is ready for whatever sport comes his way. He just needs to put in a few weeks of training if he's suiting up for the St. Louis Blues.
