Injury: Left knee inflammation
IL date: March 24 (15-day IL; retroactive to March 22)
Expected return: Late April
Status: Started his rehab assignment with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga on April 17 and allowed one run in one inning. He was transferred to Triple-A Salt Lake and is scheduled to pitch on April 22 and April 24. (updated: April 22)

Injury: Right shoulder surgery

Expected return: Early 2026 season
Status: Progressing well in throwing program. Has faced hitters twice and the Angels are determining how many more times he'll need to throw in simulated games before starting a rehab assignment. (updated: April 22) More >>
RHP Ryan Johnson
Injury: Viral infection
IL date: April 6 (15-day IL; retroactive to April 3)
Expected return: Late April/early May
Status: Made a rehab start in a Minor League game in Arizona but exited with hamstring discomfort after throwing two pitches on April 13. He's progressed to playing catch without any issues and is close to throwing a bullpen. (updated: April 22)
RHP Alek Manoah
Injury: Right middle finger contusion
IL date: March 23 (15-day IL; retroactive to March 22)
Expected return: Late April/early May
Status: Right middle fingernail fell off after March 17 start. Threw four simulated innings to hitters on April 21 and is nearing a rehab assignment. (updated: April 21)
RHP Grayson Rodriguez
Injury: Right shoulder inflammation

Expected return: May
