The Angels may face salary arbitration with three of their top performers: Garrett Richards, their leading winner; Kole Calhoun, their American League Gold Glove Award-winning right fielder; and right-hander Fernando Salas, their busiest reliever. Each filed for the process on Tuesday.
Richards, 27, avoided arbitration before last season by agreeing to a $3.2 million contract. He proceeded to finish 15-12 with a 3.65 ERA and a career-high 207 1/3 innings in 32 starts.

Besides being recognized for his defense, Calhoun hit .256 with a career-high 26 home runs and 83 RBIs. The 28-year-old earned $537,500 last season and is likely to receive a significant raise, since he's arbitration-eligible for the first time.

Salas, 30, made a team-high 72 appearances while finishing 5-2 with a 4.24 ERA. He earned $1.37 million while striking out 74 and walking just 12 in 63 2/3 innings.
