The Arizona State baseball team got the Halloween festivities started early on Monday, taking the field in full costumes for a scrimmage.

Spider-Man, Santa Claus and Napoleon Dynamite were some of the many characters who took part in the Sun Devils’ scrimmage, which was documented on social media by former Major Leaguer and current ASU head coach Willie Bloomquist. But for the best costume of the day, it’s hard to top Sulley from “Monsters, Inc.”

Watching the giant blue monster take a swing and chug down the first-base line is the Halloween treat you never knew you needed.
