The Oakland A's named Don Schulze as pitching coach at Double-A Midland, the club announced today. Schulze was scheduled to serve in the same capacity at Single-A Beloit but he was moved up to Midland after John Wasdin joined the Baltimore Orioles organization as pitching coordinator. Schulze is in his 12th season as a coach in the A's farm system and joins Midland for the second time after a four-year stint with the RockHounds from 2011-14. A pitching coach for Beloit will be named at a later date.
