CLEVELAND -- Making his first start of the year in center field, Astros outfielder Josh Reddick delivered a terrific catch in the fifth inning of Tuesday night's 4-2 win over the Indians, stealing what would've been the first home run of the season from second baseman Jason Kipnis.

Starting in center with George Springer (hamstring discomfort) and Jake Marisnick (mild concussion) both out of the lineup, Reddick tracked down Kipnis' deep fly at the wall in right-center and caught the ball as it was sailing above the yellow line to rob him of a home run. The ball traveled 391 feet, according to Statcast™.

"It's up there," Reddick said when asked how the catch ranked among his best. "It's probably top five. Especially in a close game like that, it means more to us as a team and for us to keep the lead right there."

Reddick, who won an American League Gold Glove Award with the A's in 2012, has primarily played right field in his career. This year, he has made 13 starts in right and one in left. Reddick started 10 games in center during his Gold Glove-winning season.

Austin Jackson took Keuchel deep in the third and Michael Brantley led off the ninth with a homer, but Reddick made sure Kipnis stayed in the park.
