March 17th, 2016

KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- The Astros made a pair of roster moves following Thursday's 7-5 win over the Blue Jays, sending catcher Alfredo Gonzalez to the Minor Leagues and also reassigning right-hander Jordan Jankowski to Minor League camp.
Houston now has 49 players in Major League camp.
Gonzalez, the club's No. 25 prospect per MLBPipeline.com, was one of five catchers in camp, and manager A.J. Hinch said the organization wanted him to get ample playing time. Minor League Spring Training games begin Friday.

"He's got some areas behind the plate I'd like him to work on -- some of his receiving, his game calling, his game management," Hinch said. "And to get him down to play every day, I think the important thing to do is get him in Minor League camp."
Jankowski, 26, scattered four hits over 3 1/3 scoreless innings in four appearances.
