A's pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to Mesa, Ariz., on Feb. 20 for the start of Spring Training and work out for the first time Feb. 21, and the full squad is scheduled to report on Feb. 25 and work out for the first time as a group on Feb. 26.
Major League Baseball on Monday released the first workout dates for all 30 clubs.
The A's will begin the 2016 Cactus League season on March 3 vs. the Los Angeles Angels in Tempe, Ariz. Oakland's home opener at Hohokam Stadium will be a March 4 split-squad game vs. the Colorado Rockies.
