Jessica Clements knew she had to go all out in order to secure a win for the Chicago Bandits on Sunday in the Athletes Unlimited Softball League. She had no other choice.
Her Bandits were leading the Texas Volts, 2-1, and needed one more out to pick up a victory. But the Volts had the tying run on third base and the go-ahead run on second.

That's when Texas' Jalia Lassiter stepped to the plate and sent a sinking line drive to Clements in right field. Clements got on her proverbial horse and charged in toward the infield. Just as the ball was about to find grass, she dived head-first and stuck out her gloved right arm. The ball landed in her glove before popping up into the air, but Clements then snagged the ball with her left hand while she was rolling over on her side to complete her incredible, game-winning catch, which was upheld after review.
It was the Bandits' sixth consecutive win, moving them to 10-7 on the season. You can watch Clements and the Bandits go for seven in a row tonight when they play the Volts at 8 ET on ESPN2.
