MINNEAPOLIS, MN – After three electric, sold-out shows in August 2026, the 2027 Banana Ball World Tour will return to Minneapolis next summer, as the Minnesota Twins today announced that the headlining Party Animals will play two games vs. the Firefighters at Target Field on Friday, June 4 and Saturday, June 5, 2027.
Continuing the Twins’ commitment to unique fan experiences and community engagement, the team is again partnering with the Minneapolis Tourism Improvement District and Meet Minneapolis, with collaboration from Minnesota Sports and Events (MNSE), to bring the fun and excitement of Banana Ball back to Target Field. After the Savannah Bananas and Loco Beach Coconuts wowed fans this past August 7-9, the Party Animals and Firefighters – the “Greatest Party” and “Hottest Team” in sports – will provide two unforgettable nights at the Twins’ home ballpark.
Minneapolis is among 74 cities chosen from a pool of more than 300 applicants to host a 2027 Banana Ball World Tour stop, with Target Field one of 23 Major League Baseball stadiums selected.
Banana Ball has captured hearts around the globe with its innovative and captivating approach to America’s pastime. This fast-paced, family-friendly and fun-loving brand of baseball features a two-hour time limit, fans catching foul balls for outs (Minnesota fans caught a Banana Ball single-game record 10 foul balls on August 8 at Target Field!), choreographed dance routines, trick plays, epic celebrations and much more.
All team rosters for the 2027 Banana Ball World Tour will be filled with the most entertaining and talented players in the world, including former MLB stars and celebrity guests. For more information on the Party Animals, Firefighters and Banana Ball, please visit bananaball.com.
