The idea is simple -- pick one player (or two) every day who you think will get a hit. The objective -- surpass Joe DiMaggio's record-long 56-game hitting streak -- is a bit more challenging.

You know Arenado loves hitting at Coors Field. He has a .320 batting average and a .982 OPS in his career at his old home park over 2,320 plate appearances. He's also just hot at the plate right now, batting .368 with an 1.166 OPS since the start of July. Rockies starter Ryan Feltner has a 5.75 ERA and is allowing 10.6 hits per nine innings on a .291 batting average.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Blue Jays (at Orioles)
Vlad Jr. is on a career-high 19-game hitting streak. Let's make it 20. Guerrero is batting .397 with a 1.069 OPS over those 19 games, and he's facing a starter in Kyle Bradish who has a .319 batting average and a .910 OPS allowed this season. Guerrero had two hits off Bradish when they matched up on June 13 in Toronto.

Marlins (at Phillies -- Zack Wheeler)
Wheeler has been pitching like an ace, going seven innings with no more than two runs allowed in five of his six starts since the beginning of July. He's been great at home, with a 1.58 ERA, .183 batting average allowed and 67 strikeouts in 62 2/3 innings over 10 starts.

Giants (at Padres -- Joe Musgrove)
