Day 1 of the Little League World Series kicked off in Williamsport, Pa., and with it came plenty of surprises.
Teams with early leads won each of the tournament's first three contests, but Game 4 provided a come-from-behind victory for Tennessee, who trailed, 2-1, heading into the bottom of the sixth. The Southeast Region Champions would defeat Oregon thanks to a walk-off bases-loaded double, and they would join Panama, New York, Australia as the four teams to finish opening day with perfect 1-0 records.
