Snell 'happy with everything' in progress on DL

BALTIMORE -- (left-shoulder fatigue) continues to progress. The Rays All-Star left-hander played catch on Saturday, and he's expected to throw a bullpen session on Sunday.
"I feel good," said Snell, who told reporters he didn't know what the plan was for him just yet. "I don't know. I know as much as y'all know."
Snell, who has been the Rays' best pitcher this season at 12-5 with a 2.27 ERA, allowed that having the extra rest while being on the 10-day disabled list has helped "a lot."
He pointed to Sunday's bullpen session as a big factor in how he proceeds.
"Figure it out after that," Snell said. "It all depends on the bullpen and what they want to do, but I feel good. Happy with everything right now. The ball's coming out good. All my pitches are working."
Rays manager Kevin Cash said he'll wait to see how Snell feels after his bullpen.
"I'm not ready to make any decision yet," Cash said.
Worth noting
Catcher , who the Rays designated for assignment following Wednesday afternoon's game against the Yankees, cleared outright waivers and accepted an assignment to return to Triple-A Durham.
