Donaldson gets tossed after called third strike

SEATTLE -- was ejected by home-plate umpire Chris Conroy for arguing a called third strike during the seventh inning of the Blue Jays' 3-2 win over the Mariners on Monday night at Safeco Field.
Donaldson initially took exception to the first strike of the at-bat vs. Seattle's , on a check-swing. The All-Star slugger exchanged words with Conroy but the at-bat continued.
"He's an emotional guy," Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said. "We've got a few emotional guys. I can't say that surprises me."
Donaldson then became enraged at the final strike which came on a 92-mph fastball low in the zone. He immediately turned toward Conroy and was promptly ejected as the two men went face to face.
Toronto, leading 3-0, called on at third base in the bottom of the inning.
