Maybe the first very notable mix-up between Shane and Justin Bieber happened back in 2019: A baseball card of Shane featured the mistake and Justin responded to Shane's tweet at the time.

To help people not confuse the world's biggest pop star with a starting pitcher for the Guardians, Shane made sure fans knew he was during Players' Weekend that year. Justin did the same while riding his motorcycle through Beverly Hills.

Apparently, though, people are still making the mistake. People like Bob Costas.

During Game 2 of the ALDS between the Guardians and Yankees on Friday, the veteran broadcaster called the Cleveland pitcher "Justin" during his outing at Yankee Stadium. Not Costas' most impressive moment. But what was impressive was Ron Darling's knowledge of Justin's music catalogue. Listen around the :37 second mark in the clip above for Ron flexing his Biebs muscles.

I don't know about you, but now I just picture Darling blasting this song every day on his way to the stadium to announce games.
