June 30: Concludes June with a two-hit night

June 29: Posts another three-hit game
Bobby Witt Jr. registered his fifth three-hit game of the season Tuesday night as Northwest Arkansas ambushed Springfield en route to a 19-4 victory. After his 3-for-6 game which featured two runs and three RBIs, Witt Jr. ranks among the Double-A Central leaders in hits (53, T-3rd), extra-base hits (22, 3rd), total bases (102, 2nd), and RBIs (35, 2nd). June 26: Records career night at the plate
Bobby Witt Jr.’s dominant month of June just reached its crescendo. Kansas City’s top prospect rewrote his personal record book Saturday night, recording a career-high four hits and five RBIs as the Northwest Arkansas Naturals rolled to a 9-5 victory over their in-state rivals, the Arkansas Travelers. June 25: Hitless in loss
Bobby Witt Jr. went 0-for-4 in Double-A Northwest Arkansas' loss to Arkansas, his second straight hitless game. The two quiet nights come on the heels of a seven-game hit streak where he lifted his season average as high as .281. It now sits at .269. Gameday »

June 24: Drives in run as streak ends
Bobby Witt Jr.'s seven-game hit streak came to an end Thursday night, as the 20-year-old shortstop went 0-for-3 in Double-A Northwest Arkansas' 4-3 win over Arkansas. June 23: Hits single to extend streak
Bobby Witt Jr. had a quiet day at the plate Wednesday night, going 1-for-4. It was enough to extend his hit streak though, as he has now recorded a hit in seven straight. While he couldn't provide much with the bat, he got it done with the glove, making a nice play up the middle at shortstop to start an inning-ending 6-3 double play in the second. Gameday »

June 22: Drives in run in 1-for-3 game
Bobby Witt Jr. extended his hitting streak to six games Tuesday night, going 1-for-3 with a walk for Double-A Northwest Arkansas. His lone hit was an RBI single in the eighth, driving in his 25th on the year. Witt is now hitting .281 on the season and has reached base in all but two games in the month of June. Gameday »

June 20: Registers two more hits, two steals
Bobby Witt Jr. finished Sunday with his fifth consecutive multihit game for Double-A Northwest Arkansas. And because he seems to do everything in multiples of two on the baseball diamond right now, Witt also swiped two bases, his 10th and 11th steals this season. Witt is 11-for-22 over his previous five games with five runs, six RBIs and six extra-base hits. The Royals' No. 1 prospect raised his batting average from .244 to .280 during that span. Gameday »

June 19: Slaps double and triple in loss
It was a good night to be Bobby Witt Jr. on Saturday, as he notched two extra-base hits in a 6-5 loss for Double-A Northwest Arkansas. Witt slapped a fourth-inning triple and sixth-inning double, ending his night 2-for-4 at the dish. He came around to score in the sixth. Witt is now hitting .275 on the year after dropping to .244 on June 12 and has put together a five-game hit streak with three of those game being multihit performances. Gameday »

June 18: Notches two more RBIs in multihit game
Bobby Witt Jr. did his best replicate his performance from Thursday night, going 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored Friday in Double-A Northwest Arkansas' loss to San Antonio. It was a battle of shortstops as Padres No. 2 prospect CJ Abrams went 4-for-5 with four RBIs on the night as well. June 17: Drives in two runs in win
Bobby Witt Jr. drove in a couple more runs Thursday night, bringing his total on the year to 21. After a huge night Wednesday, Witt went 2-for-5 with a double and a two-run single in the seventh as Double-A Northwest Arkansas took down San Antonio. He probably wished he had that single to complete the cycle in his last game, but he still managed to have another productive day at the plate. Gameday »

June 16: Single shy of cycle in big night
After sitting out Tuesday night, Bobby Witt Jr. came out swinging Wednesday, notching the three hardest legs of the cycle. Witt slapped a solo homer, his 11th of the year, a triple and a double in a 3-for-5 night. He is now hitting .257 with an .878 OPS on the year. June 8: Missed step costs Witt Jr. a two-homer night
Bobby Witt Jr. hit his 10th home run of the season on Tuesday night for Double-A Northwest Arkansas. He would have had No. 11, but he forgot one crucial step: touching home plate. Witt's misstep ultimately went down as a triple. In all, the Royals' top prospect went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and ended a double shy of the cycle. June 5: Goes yard for ninth time
Bobby Witt Jr.'s hit streak may have ended Friday night, but his power stroke returned Saturday. The No. 7 overall prospect went yard for the ninth time this season, this one a two-run dinger. It was his sixth homer in the past seven games. Witt went 1-for-3 on the night and managed to work two walks against Tulsa. June 4: Hit streak ends at five
Bobby Witt Jr. went hitless for the first time this month, going 0-for-4 on the day with a strikeout in Double-A Northwest Arkansas' win over Tulsa. Witt is now hitting just .234 and has cooled down a bit since his outburst of five homers in four games earlier in the week. Gameday »

June 3: Hit streak reaches five
While Witt Jr. could not continue his power surge, he stole his first base in over two weeks and went 1-for-5 at the plate. He is currently hitting .381 (8-for-21) with five solo home runs during his current five-game hitting streak. Gameday »

June 2: Hits fifth homer in four games
Bobby Witt Jr. is some kind of hot right now. The Royals' No. 1 prospect launched a solo home run in the first inning to record his fifth homer in four games. Witt went 1-for-4 on the night and now has seven hits in the past four games. He lifted his average to .247 with his performance.
