Team to watch
Let’s cherry-pick right off the top. Cam Caminiti (No. 1) has a chance to really take off in 2026 and become one of the best left-handed pitching prospects in the game by season’s end. He alone makes it worth checking out Rome, but he’s also joined by five others in the Top 30, all hitters. Infielder John Gil, No. 10 on the list, has the chance to be a breakout candidate as well.

Players we could see in MLB in 2026
No team makes it through a season with the pitching staff it starts the year with, and the Braves got hit with some injuries early. At some point -- and it could be soon -- JR Ritchie should get a chance to contribute to the rotation in Atlanta. On the heels of a terrific 2025 season that included the Futures Game (in Atlanta), reaching Triple-A and totalling 140 innings, Ritchie had a good spring and is off to a solid start with Gwinnett.

New faces
Braves fans will have to wait a little longer, but 2025 draftee Briggs McKenzie will debut after hanging back in extended spring training. The Braves gave the projectable high school left-hander $3 million -- first-round money -- in the fourth round to sign him. They also handed out a $1.5 million bonus to Jose Manon at the start of the 2026 international signing period in January, and the talented infielder will kick things off in the Dominican Summer League.

On the shelf
A pair of arms are hanging back at the facility in North Port, Fla., working their way back from injuries. For Luke Sinnard, it’s an abdominal strain. For Blake Burkhalter, it’s back spasms.
