The Braves teamed up on Wednesday with Truist Park catering partner Delaware North, Truist and other community organizations to distribute nearly 1,000 prepared meals for people in need in the metro Atlanta area.
As part of the Atlanta Braves Foundation’s annual Season of Giving campaign, presented by Truist, the Braves and their partners prepared meals in the Truist Park kitchen each weekday since Dec. 2, and they continued to do so through Thursday. This initiative ultimately provided nearly 15,000 meals for families across Cobb County, Fulton County and other surrounding areas.
The Braves' annual Season of Giving campaign is dedicated to showing appreciation and support for communities across Braves Country. In collaboration with local partners and volunteers, the campaign has provided resources and experiences through a variety of initiatives that aim to bring holiday cheer to individuals and families in need.
Beyond emergency meal preparation, the Atlanta Braves Foundation has donated toys to kids and provided support for foster children and families during this holiday season.
