As if there wasn't already a big enough party going on in Milwaukee right now, Jesús Made added something else for Brewers fans to celebrate.

MLB's No. 1 overall prospect wasted no time to savor some home cooking, crushing a homer in his first Winter League plate appearance for the Tigres del Licey in his native Dominican Republic.

Made added a single in his next at-bat for Licey in the team's contest against Leones del Escogido at Estadio Quisqueya Juan Marichal.

It's been quite a 24-hour period for the Brewers and their fans. The club reached its first World Series since 1982 after completing a four-game sweep of the Dodgers in the NLCS on Thursday night.

With an MLB roster heavy on homegrown talent, Made is yet another prospect waiting in the wings for the Brew Crew, which features four Top 100 prospects. The 19-year-old, who just appeared in his second straight Futures Games, spent the 2026 campaign at Double-A where he was named a Southern League All-Star after posting a .271/.344/.430 slash line and pacing the circuit with 91 RBIs and 87 runs. He also clubbed 14 home runs, six triples, 24 doubles, worked 57 walks and swiped 37 bases over 122 games.

Made helped lead Double-A Biloxi to the Southern League Championship Series after going 6-for-20 with a dinger, four RBIs, six runs scored and a stolen base in five postseason games.

Made has become one of the shining examples of Milwaukee’s impressive international scouting and internal player development operations since signing for $950,000 out of the Dominican Republic in January 2024. He jumped onto the Top 100 list after slashing .331/.458/.554 in 51 games in the Rookie-level Dominican Summer League in his debut season and then continued to zoom stateside in 2025, opening with Single-A Carolina and rounding out the year at Double-A as one of the youngest players at the level at 18 years old. He slashed .285/.379/.413 with six homers, 40 extra-base hits and 47 steals in 115 games across three levels last year.

A switch-hitter, Made is one of the twitchiest prospects in baseball, relying on quick bat speed from both sides of the plate. He ran almost exactly even platoon splits in ’25, and his raw power continues to grow as he ages.

One of just a handful of prospects with plus tools across the board, Made uses that quick-twitch nature on the basepaths with his 60-grade speed, and since turning pro, he’s proven capable of making highlight moves with good range and a quick release in the field at short.

Milwaukee also gave Made time at second and third base early in his career but is expected to keep prioritizing shortstop, where Made could be a franchise player at a premium position.
