Tuesday, Feb. 19. Fans visiting camp this day should expect a later start than usual, since the team spends part of the morning behind closed doors with owner Mark Attanasio, president of baseball operations David Stearns and manager Craig Counsell for a meeting that sets the tone for the spring.
New faces to know
Catcher Yasmani Grandal tops a short list of newcomers to a team that has remained largely intact since last season. The only other outside additions to the 40-man roster are relievers Alex Claudio, Jake Petricka and Bobby Wahl, infielder Cory Spangenberg and outfielder Ben Gamel (the younger brother of former Brewers infielder Mat Gamel).
Top prospects to know
All eyes will be on a pair of infielders, Mauricio Dubon and Keston Hiura, who are slated to begin the season in the Minor Leagues, but could both contribute at second base at some point this season. Other premium prospects in big league camp include outfielders Corey Ray, Troy Stokes Jr. and Tyrone Taylor, infielder Lucas Erceg, catcher Payton Henry and pitcher Zack Brown.
Where is the facility?
The newly renovated and renamed Brewers Fields of Phoenix is at 3600 N 51st Ave. in Phoenix.
Can fans attend workouts?
Yes, although it remains to be seen whether the renovation impacts the flow of workouts. In the past, most early-camp practices have taken place on a cluster of fields on what was the Minor League side of Maryvale Baseball Park, which offered fans up-close and personal access to players as they moved from station to station. Even if that changes, the complex is likely to remain one of the most fan-friendly in the Cactus League.

One other notable game
Sunday, March 3, vs. Reds at 2:05 p.m. CT. Arguably Milwaukee's most notable winter departure was pitching coach Derek Johnson, who left for the same job with the rival Reds. The Brewers play a Reds split squad in Goodyear, Ariz., on Feb. 28, but this will be Johnson's first trip back to his former spring home.

Any additional exhibitions before the regular season?
The Brewers will return to Montreal's Olympic Stadium for the first time since 2003 for a pair of exhibitions against the Blue Jays on March 25-26. Both games are scheduled for 6:05 p.m. CT.
