MILWAUKEE -- The Brewers officially signed first-round Draft pick shortstop Brice Turang on Thursday night. The two sides had until 4 p.m. CT Friday to come to terms on a contract. Turang, an LSU commit and California native, will be trading the chance to play college baseball to join the Brewers' organization. "This was a tough decision," Turang said in a tweet. "It was an honor to be a part of the 2018 Draft, and I appreciate the Brewers for taking their chance on me!"
