This will be the Blues' first time hosting the event, while the Blackhawks will be participating for the third time, including the 2009 Winter Classic at Wrigley Field in Chicago against the Detroit Red Wings. The 2014-15 Stanley Cup champions also played in last year's Winter Classic, visiting Nationals Park to face the Capitals.
