This week, the Phillies host the Boston Red Sox (June 14-15) followed by the Arizona Diamondbacks (June 16-18). Below are the top five things to know; plus, prepare for your visit to Citizens Bank Park by checking out What's New at the Ballpark in food, fashion and fandom.
Citizens Bank and the Phillies are teaming up to help fight hunger in the Delaware Valley with the 7th annual Phans Feeding Families game on Wednesday, June 14, during that night's 7:05 p.m. game against the Red Sox.
In addition to purchasing a Phans Feeding Families Theme Night Ticket benefiting Philabundance, the region's largest hunger relief organization, fans may support the cause by participating in the Phillies Charities 50/50 Raffle, making an online monetary donation to the campaign through Philabundance.org or simply spreading awareness to fight hunger using #PhansFeed on social media.
Another way to support the cause is by bidding on signed, new and game-used items in a Phillies Charities, Inc. auction through the Ballpark app starting on Wednesday, June 14, and ending on Sunday, June 18. Items will be on display at the First Base Gate Plaza on Wednesday and Sunday.
A food drive will also be held at all gates; recommended items include plastic jars of peanut butter and jelly, canned tuna and pasta. Fans who donate will receive a BOGO ticket offer for select dates. Plus, be on the lookout for a very special ceremonial first pitch, in recognition of the need to fight hunger.
Also on Wednesday, all fans will receive an MLB Network Tote Bag at the gates.
On Thursday, June 15, fans will be treated to the 11th annual Irish Heritage Celebration at Citizens Bank Park at the 7:05 p.m. Phillies game versus the Red Sox. Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 6:30 p.m. for great music and entertainment:
The next #PhilliesSocial is on Friday, June 16, before and during the 7:05 p.m. Phillies-Diamondbacks game! This special theme night ticket includes batting practice from a special viewing area, a #PhilliesSocial shirt, a game ticket on the Scoreboard Porch and $12 worth of concession credit. Also, #PhilliesSocial attendees are eligible for exclusive pregame and in-game social giveaways. Check out how to join in on the fun here.
On Saturday, June 17, during the 4:05 p.m. Phillies game versus the Diamondbacks, all kids 14 and under will receive a W.B. Mason Collectible Truck at the entrance gates.
Plus, fans 21 and over are invited to stop by the Budweiser Rooftop at Citizens Bank Park for Bud & Burger Night with specials on Budweiser.
Also, fans can head across the street to XFINITY Live! before and after Saturday's game for the Official Phillies Gameday Party. Phillies fun includes guest appearances by Phillies Alumni Gary "Sarge" Matthews, 3 - 4 p.m., and Mickey Morandini, for one hour immediately following the game. Post-game specials include $3 select drafts and 50% off appetizers for one hour following the game. After EVERY game, the fun continues with XFINITY Live! Post-Game Specials, available one hour immediately following the game.
The Phillies are paying tribute to all dads before and during the 1:35 p.m. Phillies-Diamondbacks game on Sunday, June 18, with Chevrolet Father's Appreciation Day. The day will also be dedicated to bringing awareness to prostate cancer.
Also on Sunday, fans everywhere can bid on signed, new and game-used items during the final day of the Phillies Charities, Inc. auction through the Ballpark app, benefiting Philabundance. Items will be on display at the First Base Gate Plaza.
