HOUSTON -- Masyn Winn, José Fermín and Alec Burleson all homered as the Cardinals extended their winning streak to four games with a 7-5 victory over the Astros on Saturday night at Daikin Park.

Winn launched a two-run homer to the Crawford Boxes in left field in the third to extend the Cards’ lead to 4-1. Winn, who graduated from Kingwood High School about 30 minutes from downtown Houston, had a two-run single in Friday night’s 9-4 victory.

Fermín hit a solo home run to left on the 10th pitch of the at-bat in the sixth. It was his second career home run and first home run since July 13, 2025, against the Braves.

Burleson hit a solo home run to the upper deck in right to lead off the seventh, and Nolan Gorman, who had a three-run homer on Friday night, had a two-run single in the first to put St. Louis on the board. Jordan Walker extended his hitting streak to 13 games with a single in the fifth.

Andre Pallante surrendered one run on three hits with five strikeouts over five innings. He rebounded nicely after getting tagged for seven runs in five innings in his last start on April 12 against the Red Sox.

Yordan Alvarez homered for the second straight game, a solo home run in the first, and Shay Whitcomb hit a three-run homer in the ninth for the Astros.
