KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- Carlos Correa hit a mammoth home run and Jose Altuve drove in the tying run as the Astros came back from a five-run deficit to beat the Braves, 8-7, on Tuesday afternoon at Osceola County Stadium.
Correa hit his third spring homer, a two-run shot, off Manny Banuelos in the fifth inning. The Astros tallied three more in the sixth on Tyler White's RBI single and a two-run single from Altuve, then took the lead for good on A.J. Reed's sacrifice fly in the seventh.

"Three-two changeup, I hit it pretty good," said Correa. "Really good.
"I'm not focusing on the numbers in Spring Training. I'm focusing on the approach and what I've been working on in the cage. I want to translate it into the game, and I think I've been doing that, so I'm happy with what I've been doing so far, and hopefully I can carry it into the season."

For the Braves, Freddie Freeman drove in a pair of runs and Ender Inciarte scored twice. Mike Foltynewicz strengthened his case for the pitching rotation by holding the Astros to one run and two hits in 3 2/3 innings.
Foltynewicz, the former Astros prospect making his second appearance of the spring for Atlanta, struck out five batters and walked one while throwing 51 pitches (33 strikes). The only run charged to him came when Correa led off the fourth with an infield hit and scored on a Marwin Gonzalez single.

The Braves scored four times in the fifth inning off Astros starter Mike Fiers, who was pulled after hitting a batter with the bases loaded. He allowed eight hits, six runs and two walks in 4 2/3 innings. In his last two starts, both against the Braves, he's allowed 13 hits and eight earned runs in 7 2/3 innings.
Up next for the Astros: Hard-throwing youngster Michael Feliz, who's vying for a spot on the pitching staff, will make his fifth appearance of the spring when the Astros meet the Phillies at 5:05 p.m. CT on Wednesday at Osceola County Stadium. Up next for the Braves: After an off-day Wednesday, Matt Wisler will make his fourth Grapefruit League start as the Braves travel to Bright House Field to face the Phillies on Thursday night at 6:05 p.m. ET. Wisler has allowed three runs on six hits through his first 8 2/3 innings this spring.
