Yelich day-to-day after HBP on right elbow

PITTSBURGH -- Left fielder left the Brewers' 13-6 win over Pittsburgh on Sunday after he was hit by a pitch in the seventh inning at PNC Park.
Yelich, who leads the National League with a .322 batting average and is an NL Most Valuable Player Award candidate, was hit by Pirates reliever in the right elbow.
Yelich took his base, then stole second. He returned on defense in the bottom of the frame but was replaced in the eighth by , who shifted over from right field. filled Granderson's spot. Yelich is listed as day-to-day, and will be re-evaluated Monday.
"He's doing OK," Milwaukee manager Craig Counsell said. "He's got a good-sized goose egg on his elbow. We got him out of there, got some ice on it, and we'll just have to see how it is."
Yelich hit a three-run home run during the Brewers' five-run second inning, his 32nd round-tripper of the season.

He hasn't missed a game since the first week of July, when he sat out four games with an oblique injury.
