Cionel Pérez received a belated birthday present on Saturday night. 

Celebrating his 27th birthday at Camden Yards on Friday night, Pérez was unsuccessful in catching an Austin Hays home run while hanging out in the Orioles' bullpen. 

Just 24 hours later, Pérez had the chance to redeem his miss from the night before when James McCann hit a ball out to the home bullpen. Pérez jumped up from his seat, leaned forward and snagged the home run ball that had evaded him the night before.

Though he ultimately received his birthday present a day late, Pérez is probably happy with his late-arriving gift via McCann’s bat.
