MIAMI -- The Brewers scored three in the top of the 10th and beat the Marlins, 7-5, for their third straight win in the opener at loanDepot park on Friday.

Milwaukee, who took the final two games of its home series with the Blue Jays, led 3-0 and 4-1 on Friday before Miami came back.

In the 10th, however, the Brewers took the lead on a throwing error home from Miami second baseman Xavier Edwards with the bases loaded. Milwaukee added a pair of runs for a 7-4 lead on a double to left by Garrett Mitchell.

Milwaukee’s victory came in the debut of who allowed two runs on four hits over 5 1/3 innings.

Crow, Milwaukee’s No. 27 prospect, was officially recalled from Triple-A Nashville on Friday and had his own loud cheering section of family and friends in the lower level of the ballpark. He showed no signs of being overwhelmed by the situation.

On the first batter he faced, Crow had to cover first base for the out and appeared to tweak something. After being checked out, he remained in the game.

And it was a great debut effort from that point on.

Crow put the Marlins down in order in the first and fifth innings, leaving in the sixth holding a 4-1 lead.
