The Colorado Rockies announced today that they have optioned right-handed pitcher David Hale to Triple-A Albuquerque and reassigned five other players to their Minor League camp. 
 
Right-handed pitchers (3): Nelson Gonzalez, David Hale*, Brock Huntzinger
Catcher (1): Ryan Casteel
Outfielders (2): Kyle Parker, Michael Tauchman
*40-man roster player optioned
 
The Rockies have 40 players in Major League Spring Training camp, including seven non-roster players.
