TORONTO -- D-backs first baseman Paul Goldschmidt remained in third place at his position in the most recent NL All-Star ballot update.
The 28-year-old has 681,773 votes, and he trails the first-base leader, the Cubs' Anthony Rizzo, by 1.5 million votes. Rizzo has an overall total of 2,202,494 votes.
Since June 5, Goldschmidt has hit .368 with four doubles, four homers and 12 RBIs.
