Peralta said he was told last year when he initially suffered the injury that he had irritated a ligament in the wrist. He was scheduled to see Dr. Don Sheridan later Sunday and will likely have an MRI taken Monday.
This will be Brito's third stint in the big leagues. D-backs manager Chip Hale said that the left-handed hitter will probably be in the starting lineup Wednesday and Thursday when the Mets are scheduled to start right-handed pitchers Bartolo Colon and Noah Syndergaard.
