PEORIA, Ariz. -- D-backs catcher Welington Castillo racked up five RBIs with a home run and two doubles off his former Mariners teammates as Arizona took a 10-8 Cactus League win Monday at Peoria Stadium.
Kyle Seager hit a two-run homer for the Mariners in the fifth, his first of the spring, and Korean slugger Dae-Ho Lee clubbed a deep home run in the eighth, but Seattle's pitching allowed 17 hits in the spring slugfest.

Castillo was traded from the Mariners to the D-backs last June after being acquired by Seattle just two weeks earlier from the Cubs. The 28-year-old doubled in two runs in the first and pushed a two-run homer over the left-field fence in the third, both off Seattle starter James Paxton. It was his second home run of the spring.
Paxton surrendered four straight hits with two outs in the first, but got out of the frame with just the two runs allowed thanks to a nice sliding catch by right fielder Stefen Romero on a line drive by former Mariners prospect Gabriel Guerrero. Paxton finished his second start of the spring with seven hits and four runs allowed in three innings.
"The numbers obviously aren't what I'm looking for, but I felt like I threw the ball really well," said Paxton, who acknowledged his velocity isn't cranked up yet to where it'll be later in spring. "Early on I wasn't getting ahead of guys as much as I'd like, but I did better with that in the second and third inning."
D-backs right-hander Rubby De La Rosa gave up three runs in the second as Mariners center fielder Boog Powell laced a two-run single with the bases loaded, with a third run scoring when right fielder David Peralta bobbled the ball.
De La Rosa was lifted after a leadoff single by Robinson Cano in the third, finishing his day with four hits, three runs, two walks and one strikeout in two-plus innings.
D-backs third baseman Brandon Drury's two-run homer to center highlighted a three-run fourth against Seattle's Donn Roach, with Castillo making it 8-3 with an RBI double. Roach wound up allowing nine hits and six runs in 1 1/3 innings.
Shortstop Nick Ahmed's two-run double in the fifth for the D-backs capped his 2-for-4 day with three RBIs.
Mariners up next: Right-hander Nathan Karns makes his second spring start in a 12:10 p.m. PT game against the Indians in Goodyear. Karns, acquired from the Rays in a November trade, threw two scoreless innings in his debut last Thursday against the Padres. Joe Wieland, Vidal Nuno, Jonathan Aro and Tony Zych are also scheduled to pitch for Seattle in a game that will be available live on MLB.TV.
D-backs up next: The D-backs have a pair of games Tuesday starting with a 1:10 p.m. MST game against the Padres in Peoria. Zack Godley, who is competing for the fifth spot in the rotation, will get the start. The D-backs will also take on the Angels at 4 p.m. MST at Salt River Fields with another No. 5 starter candidate -- left-hander Robbie Ray -- on the mound.
