June 18th, 2016

Welcome to DraftKings fantasy baseball, the Official Daily Fantasy Game of Major League Baseball.
The players listed below could provide difference-making stats for DraftKings participants on Sunday.
Martin Prado: The third baseman will be primed to produce when he brings his lifetime .830 OPS against left-handers (.740 vs. righties) into a matchup with Rockies southpaw Tyler Anderson, who will be making his second career start.
:: Fred Zinkie's Daily Picks ::
Giancarlo Stanton: Batting .133 in his past 30 games, the outfielder could have a reduced cost in DraftKings contests when he brings his impressive lifetime .286/.380/.604 slash line against left-handers into a matchup with the inexperienced Anderson. Stanton could also thrive late in the game against a Rockies relief corps that ranks 25th in the Majors with a 4.49 ERA.
Marcell Ozuna: Ozuna -- who is hitting .317 with 12 homers across 249 at-bats this season -- owns a lifetime .872 OPS against left-handers that exceeds his .727 mark vs. righties. The outfielder could excel against Anderson and a Rockies squad that ranks 25th in the Majors with a .680 defensive efficiency ratio.

Jose Altuve: With a lifetime .355/.404/.504 slash line against left-handers, the diminutive second baseman has proven to be among the best in baseball during those matchups. Altuve has the plate skills to reach base often against Reds southpaw Brandon Finnegan (career 4.59 FIP) and the speed to swipe a base against Tucker Barnhart, who has allowed more steals than all but one catcher in 2016.
George Springer: With a lifetime .898 OPS against left-handers in comparison to a .790 mark vs. righties, the outfielder will be positioned to put his premium lineup spot to good use when he faces Finnegan (4.79 FIP, 1.31 WHIP in 2016). Springer could also excel late in the game against a Reds relief corps that ranks last in the Majors with a 6.04 ERA.
Carlos Gomez: Hitting .210 this season, the outfielder could have a reduced price tag in DraftKings contests when he brings his lifetime .755 OPS against left-handers (.714 vs. righties) into a matchup with Finnegan and an unreliable Reds relief corps.
Miguel Cabrera: The first baseman will be in great position to put a ball into the outfield seats when he brings his impressive lifetime .323/.390/.564 slash line against right-handers into a matchup with Royals fly-ball-prone righty Chris Young, who has posted a 6.15 ERA, a 1.52 WHIP and a 3.6 HR/9 rate in 2016.

Corey Seager: Since making his big league debut on Sept. 3, 2016, the shortstop has posted a .293/.366/.516 slash line against right-handers. Seager could reach base often or score multiple runs when he faces Brewers righty Matt Garza, who will be making his second start of 2016 after posting a 5.63 ERA and a 1.57 WHIP last season.
Adrian Gonzalez: The first baseman has long fared best vs. right-handers, registering a lifetime .895 OPS in those situations (.769 vs. lefties). From the heart of the Dodgers' lineup, Gonzalez could drive in multiple runs at the expense of Garza and a Brewers bullpen that ranks 22nd in baseball with a 4.17 ERA.
Francisco Lindor: As a big leaguer, the second-year shortstop has registered an .886 OPS against left-handers that exceeds his .794 mark vs. righties. From his premium lineup spot, Lindor could produce a notable DraftKings total when he faces White Sox southpaw Carlos Rodon (4.28 ERA, 1.50 WHIP in 2016).
Carlos Gonzalez: The outfielder has traditionally excelled vs. right-handers, against whom he has produced a lifetime .935 OPS (.743 vs. lefties). Gonzalez could reach base often or drive in multiple runs when he faces Marlins righty Tom Koehler (career 4.12 ERA, 1.36 WHIP).

Nick Hundley: With a lifetime .733 OPS against right-handers that exceeds his .622 mark vs. lefties, the catcher will be poised to deliver production at a premium position when he tangles with Koehler (4.25 ERA, 1.50 WHIP in 2016).
Odubel Herrera: With a 39-to-50 walk-to-strikeout ratio, the outfielder has made major progress with his plate skills this season. Herrera could have a great game when he brings his lifetime .814 OPS against right-handers (.699 vs. lefties) into a matchup with D-backs righty Archie Bradley (career 5.73 ERA, 1.51 WHIP).
Brian McCann: One of the most powerful players at his premium position, McCann could go deep or drive in multiple runs when he brings his lifetime .820 OPS against right-handers (.751 vs. lefties) into a matchup with righty Ervin Santana (career 4.19 ERA, 1.29 WHIP). McCann could also have success late in the game against a Twins bullpen that ranks 24th in the Majors with a 4.47 ERA.
Didi Gregorius: Gregorius could provide cost-effective production at the shortstop position when he takes his lifetime .718 OPS against right-handers (.607 vs. lefties) into a matchup with Santana (5.10 ERA, 1.50 WHIP in 2016). Also of note: Gregorius will attempt to put balls into play against a Minnesota squad that ranks last in the Majors with a .657 defensive efficiency ratio.

Carlos Carrasco: With a 3.20 ERA, a 1.06 WHIP and a 9.9 K/9 rate since the outset of 2014, the right-hander has the skills to spin a gem when he faces a White Sox lineup that ranks 25th in the Majors with a .692 OPS against righties.
Jacob deGrom: Having posted a lifetime 2.64 ERA and 1.06 WHIP, the right-hander has emerged as one of the most effective starters in the National League. deGrom could record a game-changing DraftKings total when he faces a Braves lineup that ranks 29th in the Majors in OPS vs. righties (.656) and last in total home runs (29).
All statistics are accurate through the completion of Friday's games.
