Damon, Finch to be on 'Dancing With The Stars'

Baseball will continue to make a presence on the hit television show "Dancing With The Stars," as ABC announced on Friday that former Red Sox star Johnny Damon and renowned softball star Jennie Finch will be among the show's contestants for its 26th season, which returns on April 30.
The competition will feature 10 athletes. Here is the full slate, with each contestant's partner in parenthesis:
• Damon (Emma Slater)
• Finch (Keo Motsepe)
• Basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (Lindsay Arnold)
• Figure skater Mirai Nagasu (Alan Bersten)
• Luger Chris Mazdzer (Witney Carson)
• NFL star Josh Norman (Sharna Burgess)
• Former figure skater Tonya Harding (Sasha Farber)
• Snowboarder Jamie Anderson (Artem Chigvintsev)
• Figure skater Adam Rippon (Jenna Johnson)
• Notre Dame basketball player Arike Ogunbowale (Gleb Savchenko)
Damon, 44, played 18 years in the Majors, hitting .284/.352/.433 over 2,490 games. He won the World Series with the Red Sox in 2004 and Yankees in '09.
Finch, one of the greatest pitchers in softball history, helped lead the United States to a gold medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics and a silver medal in the '08 Summer Games.
