Danny Salazar activated from DL; Armstrong & Naquin promoted from AAA Columbus

The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the 2017 Major League roster:
Salazar has been on the disabled list since August 21 with right elbow inflammation, his second D.L. stint in 2017. So far this season he is 5-6 with a 4.30 ERA in 18 games/16 starts (92.0IP, 89H, 44ER, 38BB, 128SO). In his six second half starts after being activated from his first D.L. trip (6/4-7/21) he has posted a 2-1 mark with a 2.68 ERA (37.0IP, 30H, 11ER, 10BB, 51SO, .221 avg).
Armstrong begins his ninth stint with Cleveland in 2017, posting a relief mark of 1-0 with a 4.76 ERA over 19 outings (22.1IP, 22H, 12ER, 9BB, 19SO, .244 avg) at the Major League level. Around his time in Cleveland he has posted a record of 1-1 with 10 saves and a 3.07 ERA in 28 relief appearances for AAA Columbus (29.1IP, 27H, 10R/ER, 11BB, 36SO, .241 avg). He has limited right-handed Triple-A hitters to a .190 (11-58) average against and an overall mark of .204 (11-54) with runners on base. He is currently tied for sixth in the International League in saves.
Naquin is beginning his third stint with Cleveland in 2017 (Opening Day-April 12; July 14-16), hitting .200 (5-25) with a double and 2 runs scored over 9 games with the Indians. Around his time in Cleveland he batted .298 (88-295) in Triple-A Columbus with 14 doubles, 4 triples, 10 home runs and 51 RBI in 80 games (.359/.475/.833). He batted .323 (64-198) against RHP, .306 (45-147) with men on base and .313 (25-80) with RISP at Triple-A, appearing in 49 games in centerfield and 23 games in right field.
The Major League roster currently consists of 36 players.
