LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers acquired infielder Chris Taylor from the Mariners, trading right-handed pitcher and longtime top prospect Zach Lee after Sunday's 2-1 win.
Taylor, 25, is hitting .312/.387/.457 in 73 games with the Mariners' Triple-A affiliate Tacoma this season. He was drafted by Seattle in the fifth round of the 2012 Draft out of the University of Virginia. Over his first three seasons in the big leagues, Taylor has hit .240/.296/.296 in 256 plate appearances with eight steals.
The 24-year-old Lee was the team's first-round pick in the 2010 Draft and winner of the club's 2013 and 2015 Branch Rickey Minor League Player of the Year awards. He made one start with the Major League team in 2015, allowing seven earned runs in 4 2/3 innings. Lee was the No. 21 prospect in the Dodgers' system.

After a strong season with Triple-A Oklahoma City in 2015, Lee has struggled so far in 2016, yielding a 4.89 ERA and 1.493 WHIP in 73 2/3 innings.
