WASHINGTON -- Dodgers outfielder successfully tested his jammed left wrist in a Wednesday night workout at Nationals Park, and he said he expects to be ready for Friday night's Game 1 of the National League Division Series against the Nats (5:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. PT on FS1).
Toles, who hadn't swung a bat since Friday night, took live batting practice, did not appear to be favoring his wrist and said he had no pain.
"It's taped tight and feels fine," said Toles, who said he wasn't worried about the wrist tightening up after the workout.
The Dodgers flew from Los Angeles on Wednesday, and the workout began at 8:30 p.m. ET. The only player not on the field was closer , but club officials said he was in the clubhouse and had no health issues.
Outfielder did not take batting practice on the field, but did hit in the underground batting cage, and manager Dave Roberts said Pederson is healthy.
