LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Dodgers today announced sellouts for all seven potential postseason home games in the Division Series and League Championship Series just hours after tickets went on sale to the public at 10:00 a.m. It's believed to be the quickest that the club has sold out of postseason tickets in Dodger Stadium history.
The Dodgers, who hold the best record in the Majors, have already clinched a postseason berth for a fifth consecutive season, and their magic number currently sits at two to be crowned NL West champions for the fifth season in a row.
The National League postseason gets underway with the Wild Card Game on Wednesday, Oct. 4, and the best-of-five Division Series begins on Friday, October 6. The best-of-seven National League Championship Series and World Series start on Saturday, Oct. 14 and Tuesday, Oct. 24, respectively.
Fans who still wish to attend the Dodgers' possible NLDS and NLCS home games are encouraged to visit StubHub, the official secondary ticket marketplace of the Dodgers and the best destination for fans to purchase tickets right up until gametime for the postseason.
