PHOENIX -- Dodgers rookie shortstop Corey Seager, MLBPipeline.com's top-ranked prospect, left Friday's game against the Angels in the third inning as a precautionary measure with tightness behind the left leg, joining catcher Yasmani Grandal on the sidelines.
Following the Angels' 8-4 victory, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Seager tweaked his left knee and probably won't play Saturday.
"You see him grimace, he wasn't moving as well as he normally does," Roberts said. "To come out of a game, I don't think we'll see him play tomorrow night."

Grandal said he strained both forearms hitting extra from both sides of the plate and suspects it is the result of delaying the start of winter workouts because of his offseason surgery on his left shoulder. He hopes to return to games next week.
Also in Friday's game, Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson was removed after one inning to fulfill an appointment. He did not have a medical issue. 
"[Pederson] had an appointment and wanted to get one at-bat," Roberts said.
Howie Kendrick's sore groin muscle improved enough to allow him to take some at-bats in a Minor League game Friday.
Justin Turner, who is returning cautiously from knee surgery, said he hopes to make his Cactus League debut Monday as a designated hitter.
Hyun-Jin Ryu is throwing from 150 feet and hopes to throw off a mound next week.
